I Heart Fashion: Uma Thurman Lends Her Golden Voice To Narrate Ralph Laurens' 'The RL Gang'

Fashion has become increasingly child friendly over the years, what with every fashion power house worth mentioning, investing in some form of  infant couture collection. This Spring Ralph Lauren has taken it a step further and will be launching 'The RL Gang: A Magically Magnificent School Adventure' video, which will give prominence to  the heritage label's 2011 Spring/Summer childrenswear collection. Narrated by none other than 'Kill Bill's' leading protagonist Uma Thurman, Ralph Lauren will also be conducting a search for one lucky child to showcase their talent in the forthcoming installment of the RL Gang. What I'd give to be 10 years old again!


The collection will launch on March 3rd via the Ralphlauren.com/RLGang as well as Bloomingdales.com/RLGang and TheBay.com/RLGang on March 13th.

Above everything else, fashion and film share one main thing in common, visual splendor. And what better way to celebrate this blissful union  than to dedicate a whole evening to it. Birds Eye View returns with its yearly Fashion Loves Film Festival-pinnacling work by a fashion fest line up of designers, artists and photographers, who will be exploring the relationship between fashion, art and advertising. 

The screening will be promptly followed by a panel chat with a few leading fashion voices including, British vogue art director Jaime Perlman and curator Kathryn Ferguson.

I Heart Music (News): Kanye West And G.O.O.D Music Team To Headline South By South West?

Rumors have it that Kanye West and his G.O.O.D Music protege will be headlining the annual Texan music festival South By South West (SXSW) this year. According to sources, West and the GM team will take over the stage on March 19th, at midnight and a promo video for the event- which also happens to feature Kanye West's 'Runway' in the background adds further speculation to a possible performance. 


I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I Heart Music (Video): Sha Stimuli 'Wake Up Go'

I found Sha Stimuli in my inbox and I am happy we've become acquainted (musically of course). The Brooklyn based rapper has already governed himself a respectable spot light moment  in Source Magazine's 'Unsigned Hype' section with the release of his first mixtape 'Let Me Show You The Way,' back in 2002. 


'Wake Up Go' is the new single taken from Stimulus' forthcoming mixtape 'The Break- Up Part 2: The Proposal' and though it is quite notably a track for the clubs it also has a nice message, showing appreciate for natural beauty.
